Small Shaped Garden Design in Tatsfield
A difficult small space to design. The end result created by using three hard landscaping materials sleepers, random paving and cobbles helped to unify the entire garden. A membrane was placed under the cobbles and planted through to create a low maintenance garden. This small shaped garden design in Tatsfield, Surrey is a perfect example of landscape design in small awkward spaces, a common type of garden for garden designers. There were two seating areas created to provide the garden with different viewing aspects and a vegetable garden placed in a ‘dead’ space in the garden. The vegetable beds were raised for ease of access and maintenance. A wooden pergola with climbers was added to create an entrance from the back gate and also gave extra height to the garden.
