Tiered Garden Design in Sevenoaks
Tiered Garden Design in Sevenoaks was a garden with ‘altitude’ – having a 10m drop from top to bottom! The only large level area was at the bottom where a huge climbing frame and children’s play area were installed. There was also a space alongside this area for kicking a football or playing badminton. The terracing was achieved using treated garden sleepers and stone steps to match the newly built stone house. A shed, glasshouse and three areas of lawn were included within the five different levels and connected by these steps. Tall hedges of pleached hornbeam trees were added to help screen the rather wild banks leading down to a railway line. A great tiered garden design in Sevenoaks shows just how one can deal with this type of challenge!
